Hawaii improves to 5-0 for the 2023-2024 season while San Diego drops to 5-2. Hawaii university men’s basketball team won the inaugural Acrisure invitational with a victory over San Diego in Palm springs, Calif on Saturday .

The team currently competes in the Big West Convention after leaving its longtime home of the Western Athletic Convention in July 2012. The last time Hawaii made the NCAA tournament in 2016 with getting their first NCAA tournament victory at same year as well.
