Move Andrew Wiggins to the bench, Warriors convert starting lineup

The Athletic’s Shoms Charania first reported citing sources that Golden state is benching Veteran forward Andrew Wiggins and will start Rookie. Brandin Podziemski in his place. Steve Kerr has submitted his starting lineup for this game and Andrew Wiggins is being moved to the bench for Brondin Podziemski. Jonathan Kumingo is starting for the suspended Draymond green.

Wiggins has been so much struggling for starting this season, but yet this is the sudden change considering how long Kerr has stuck with this core group from that 2022 title run. This will be only first time in Wiggins NBA career. He has come off the bench in a daily season game. The clippers will also feature a new starting five in this game, with Amir Coffey starting for the injured Paul George.

The Warriors are 10-13 on the the season and Coach Steve Kerr has been hinting at possible lineup changes for several days now. Wiggins played just 15 minutes with 3 points 4 Rebounds and 1 assist. Brandin Podziemski will slide into the starting lineup and will make his case to coach Kerr for a large role.
