Unsettling Information About Warriors Starter : Andrew Wiggins

Has Andrew Wiggins, the starting guard for the Golden State Warriors, been injured?

Starting guard for the Golden State Warriors Andrew Wiggins had a personal issue last season that kept him out of action for two months, but his teammates and the team supported him through it all. His absence did not appear to be upsetting his teammates, and all of the Warriors players’ statements in public were supportive of their colleague.

Although Wiggins’ prolonged absence was not met with criticism from his teammates or the organization, a recent report from Kendra Andrews of ESPN indicates that some members of the organization were displeased with Wiggins’ lack of physical preparation to begin the season, thinking the Warriors star did not recover sufficiently over the summer.

Regarding Wiggins, sources informed ESPN that he neglected to dedicate enough time during the summer to get back in shape in preparation for this season, Andrews wrote, after missing two months of the previous campaign due to a personal matter that is still under wraps. According to a team source, some employees were irritated by his lack of physical conditioning.

Although Wiggins had the full support of his teammates and the organization during his time away from the team, the Warriors are extremely concerned about this report because it was expected that he would use the offseason to get back into shape after understandably struggling at times during the previous year’s playoffs.

According to this report, there appears to be some frustration among the organization because Wiggins may not have made the most of his offseason as some had hoped.
